"A Fence without offense"
U.S Border Patrol agents are hard at work developing a wall to divide the U.S and Mexico. The difficult part of this is to develop a wall that not only is enviromentally safe, economically built, and formidable but not lethal. This fence has to be able to stand up against all the techniques smugglers have developed. "This is the only humane border fence being constructed" says Collin Sloan. Spanning about 300 miles this is the biggest fence built in South Western history. The different terrains the fence goes through makes it difficult to pick just one type. There have been many failed designs so hope only grows with time. Developers know that no fence will be impenetrable, all they want is one that will allow them time to reach the smugglers and immigrants before they reach the border communities in the U.S.
This is one of the biggest migrations in history. We need to find a solution to it fast. Our nations are friendly, making it difficult to build a threatning wall. The fence developers are hard at work and I believe it is worth it. This is a step not a solution, but definitely a step in the right path. We need to conitinue to up security and limit illegal migration.

Personally, I don't agree with building a wall to stop illegal immigration. I feel that we should try to limit illegal immigration, but building a wall is too harsh. It is an extremely unfriendly and unwelcoming way to keep people out, and I feel it will create a lot of controversy. My belief is that the country create stricter laws, not bigger walls.
unlike lea i dont think walls would be unfriendly. i dont think people at the border would be like oh well thats not very nice. either way people are going to try to get in. it will be extremely difficult to keep them out without being harsh and disciplined. this is an issue that will not cease. harsher laws would help but how much. how impossible would it be to try to use those laws on everyyy illegal. and we would lose so much money.
I think that a wall... should probably have a door in order to be more friendly. But HEY if its stops illegal immigration, that might be pretty coool. This brings me back to that time the illegal immigrants went on strike for a day, and we were all like... Show us why you should be here? it took less time to get to school, and lines were shorter in every store... yeahhhhh Go Wall!
I agree with Lea in that building a wall seems to be an extreme solution to the problem of immigration in the United States. Yes, it is an issue that we must work on improving however a wall does not seem to be the proper answer. It need sto be a better method because if we put up a wall, not only wil it be extremely difficult to make but peopel will try to get around it.
