Kerry and Obama?

John Kerry showed his support for the presidential candidacy of Senator Barack Obama last Thursday. Calling him the only Democrat in the race who can inspire a movement to create a new image around the world.

“Who better than Barack Obama to turn a new page in American politics, so that Democrats, independents and Republicans alike can look to the leadership that unites to find common ground?”-Kerry

This be the step that puts Barack Obama ahead of Hillary Clinton. Now a whole new group of people that support Mr. Kerry might follow along and vote for Obama. Kerry did not even mention his former running mate, John Edwards, all he did was praise Obama.

Kerry has secretly been supporting Obama since last year. Kerry feels that America needs a young president, someone who truly is not yet set in their ways.

Obama does not appeal to just one group like most people think. He appeals to people's beliefs. I think this is why Kerry has made his support public, to show that no matter your differences, the common goal of change is necessary.

Dear ZZzzzZZZzzZZZzzz,

I think that Kerry is an important ally to the Obama campaign but I do not think it is what will put him ahead of Hillary. I think that Oprah along with Obama's fresh ideas will inspire voters to side with him.
